Straightliner's Rising Sun

This is the story of my cruiser called "Straightliner Rising Sun".

I started February 2015 to think about a building of a cruiser. So I checked out different frames which are on the market. But I was not lucky with all that stuff. Therefore I thought about to design my own frame:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I found a frame which comes near to the look and ordered it:

The front wheel (28" with 23mm road tire and Shutter Precission hub dyn:

The brake disk (203mm):

The fork from Ruff:

and different other stuff.

I put these things together to got the first look:

But the frame has to be modified:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then I stripped it again an gave the frame to the colorer:

Then I started to lay the brake line, lighting system and so on:

I ordered some sticker to get the same look as my motorcycle:

But I was not very happy with this result.

Therefore I thought about another solution and the name of the bike comes true:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then I started to think about an electric drive system and ordered a Cromotor V2

And decided me for 21" motor cycle rim:

Implement the wheel inside the frame and started to build the box for batteries, controller and so on:

And I tested the bicycle on 1/4 mile event with a successful run:

... another update:

By adding another 5Ah battery pack I destroyed the motor and afterwards the controller on test run

After that I build it back to manual mode

and continued with my motorcycle and little bit more powerful hubmotor
